You have a key role to play in the divine process for global apostolic impact. How impactful you would want your life to be on the Earth is determined by YOU. Remember you were made to subdue the entire Earth with a particular grace from God.
Ordained to be with Him
Mark 3:13
13 \”And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him…\”
This is an awesome revelation. Jesus ordained the twelve, first and foremost, to be with Him. If you are going to represent Him then you must be with Him long enough to know Him. This may come across as easy. Just hanging around Jesus. But as easy as it may seem, many of us don’t spend the required time in prayer fellowshipping with Jesus. You see, being with Him means imbibing His personal culture, attitudes and mentality. You are structured and restructured for success in the presence of Jesus. To be with Jesus means training.
Commissioned to speak for Him
Mark 3:14
\”And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,\”
Jesus wants to put a message in your spirit, in your mind and in your mouth. But this will be impossible outside His presence. He wants to send you forth as His ambassador in the Earth. You have a colourful and an ambassadorial destiny in Christ. You risk not fulfilling destiny if you are unwilling to spend time with Jesus.
Empowered to represent and demonstrate the kingdom
Mark 3:15
\”And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:\”
Jesus wants to send you forth as an absolute master over devils. Your contact with the Earth should be that of absolute dominion. To have a mind-set that confronts sicknesses and casts out devils you must be with Jesus. It may seem like you are not making much progress just being with Him. If you are pleased to be with Jesus like you ought, Jesus will be pleased to send you forth as a ruler of devils and diseases. When Jesus sends you forth, opposition is nothing. You know what to do to be a master of devils and whatever they cause. Take action and be with Jesus. Live in the Presence of Jesus.
