Waiting on God to Know Him is the Secret of Strength
Isaiah 40:29-31
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
It is when you consider the above scripture in light of Daniel 11:32 that you get a fuller understanding of what God is saying to you.
Daniel 11:32b
… but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
It is those who wait upon the Lord to know Him that can take hold of the strength He gives. The strength of God is literally the energy of God.
Energy to Walk
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
When you spend time with God with the sole purpose of knowing Him, you will take delivery of His energy. The energy of God causes you to walk. No more stagnation in your life. The scripture implies you have to do something with the energy of God that you receive in the knowledge of Him. And they shall walk and not faint. Real supernatural energy awaits us if we will take time out to fellowship with God. This is an unstoppable energy for your forward movement.
Energy to Run
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
When the energy of God is at work in you, you will gain speed and accomplish much more in a day than the average person. Waiting on God is not a waste of time after all. It is God’s strategy for rare living. Make God your focus; it’s the smartest way to live.
Energy to Fly
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Not only will the energy of God cause you to walk and run but it will fuel you for flight. The energy of God will strengthen you to explore new realms of living. Walking, running and flying. New dimensions of life await you in God.
Increase your strength through your knowledge of God.
