Raise the Standard for Your Life

To change or elevate your results you must raise your standard. You must review the unacceptable in your life. To improve, you must set new personal standards of excellence influenced by Kingdom standards. This is our year of production; therefore we are big on results. Constantly review your results because this is your year of phenomenal output.

Reach for God’s Best
Take a look at The Message translation of the scripture below:
Mathew 25: 24-26
24 \”The servant given one thousand said, \’Master, I know you have high standards and hate careless ways, that you demand the best and make no allowances for error.
25 I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money. Here it is, safe and sound
down to the last cent.\’
26 \”The master was furious. \’That\’s a terrible way to live! It\’s criminal to live cautiously like that! If you knew I was after the
best, why did you do less than the least?

Verse 25 reveals the self-doubt of the last servant. You must come to know that what God says He will do through you, will be done. Do not doubt God’s wisdom, ability, favour, grace and power in you. The truth is, your thinking is inseparable from your behaviour. See how this last servant’s actions and inactions are tied to how he thought. To change your behavior, change your thinking. To change your thinking, raise your standard. To raise your standard, pursue God’s highest vision of you.

A winning mentality
Mathew 25:27
The least you could have done would have been to invest the sum with the bankers, where at least I would have gotten
a little interest.
You are wired to win. Believe me there is victory in every fiber of your being. We must learn how to consistently and effectively release victory into every situation we find ourselves. Don’t allow anything less than God’s best to have final say in your life. You win always.

Risk does not mean recklessness
28 \”\’Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this \”play-it-safe\” who won\’t go out on a limb.
Taking risk is not being reckless. When you have the Word on an issue, acting on it is not recklessness but faith, and faith looks like risk to the outsider. God‘s Word to you will come to pass. He is not a man that He should lie. It is impossible for God to lie. His Word is reality. Live in the Reality of God. It is a risk to play it safe when God has a global plan for you.
