Until church becomes a training and transformation centre, we cannot fulfil our destiny of teaching and transforming all nations. Our reference scripture calls for a sharp focus on personal transformation and change.
A study revealed that only 5% of the human populace think! Fifteen per cent think they are thinking, while the remaining 80% would rather die than think.
You must engage to fulfil God\’s vision for your life. You cannot just float in life. You cannot get into your glorious future just the way you are. You must change – in thought, speech and actions. You must work hard on yourself to reflect God. You must think seriously about your life and where you are heading. Don\’t just accept what you are served in life. You have a choice, exercise it. You can have what you want if you know what you want.
Titus 2:7
\’\’In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works…\’\’
Our Mandate
The mind of the Spirit for the church is that we become an evident pattern in all things. Stop reading and think about this for a while. The Church of Jesus, which includes you, if you are born again, is supposed to be a template of good works in all things. By destiny we are leaders in the earth. Our lives must describe God in the earth. Every member of the Church must so transform till each one of us become examples of good works in ALL things.
Are you a template as a husband, wife, employee, employer, politician, a minister of the gospel? If we replicate your marriage in the whole earth will it reveal the will of God on what marriage was meant to be? What about your work?
If Your Church Is Not Changing You Change It
If you are not getting the spiritual nourishment from your church necessary to make it impossible for you to stay the same, you need to find a new church. It\’s not a club you need but church – an assembly for transformation. If you are unwilling to be changed by the Word then you are playing religion. The assembling of ourselves together as a Church, and the institution of ministry gifts in the Church by God is for challenging and changing God\’s children. We are supposed to develop and grow unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. Christ is God\’s standard for your life.
\”…Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (Ephesians 4:13)
You are to be as Christ in faith, knowledge and maturity. This calls for brutal focus on personal development.
You Cannot Become a Pattern Without Changing
I think there is too much entertainment and drama in the Church. Without a serious approach in delivering training, we risk becoming a nuisance. We go through the motions without effecting necessary personal changes. There is no way the Church as a body corporate can become effective in salvaging nations without personal commitments by members to change. We can shape and re-culture nations with the Kingdom if we become patterns and templates of good works in every sphere of life.
You can either actively represent the kingdom of God or be part of the masses; the choice is yours.
