The relevance of God’s blessing on your life cannot be overemphasized. This week I would want to share with you an understanding that will help you become confident in facing life as it is – and winning. I trust that you will be blessed from reading and practising this message.
Genesis 28:14
And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
It is Inside You
God said to Abraham, “in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.” The Bible says in Galatians 3:16 that the seed is Christ. And in 1 Corinthians 12:27 God tells us that we are the body of Christ. That means, you are the Body of the Seed (Christ) in whom all the families of the earth will be blessed. You carry the blessing!
No matter where you are in your life right now, do not identify yourself by your problems or your limitations; rather see yourself as a certified carrier of the blessing for the nations! Do not wait for help; you are the help another person needs. So rise up, put yourself together and go out there and become a blessing to all the families of the earth.
The Blessing Has Global Relevance
If there is one thing that all the families of the earth can and will accept, it is the blessing. This is why the Church is mandated to preach the good news of the Kingdom. You have a role to play if the families of the earth must be blessed. You are a major and not a minor. Do you see why you cannot continue to live an ordinary life?
The Church: God’s Approved Agent in the Earth
The Church is God’s authorised agent charged with the responsibility of becoming a blessing to all the families of the earth. The Church ought to be a blessing and not a burden to all nations. No nation can be blessed without the Church. Any nation that takes the Church out of its success equation will succeed into self-destruction. What the Church contributes to society is irreplaceable.
You Have Something to Offer
When you begin to see yourself as God sees you, you become unlimited. Do not nurture a beggar’s mentality. There is nothing honourable about begging. You are not a beggar; you are a blessing. Would you think like this? You need to meditate diligently on this truth until it becomes a part of your thinking – until you begin to see yourself as a blessing, and act as such. If you can see yourself as a blessing and act like one, you can tame the circumstances of your life because you are more than a conqueror.
